Common Wall Problems We Fix
Hairline cracks, larger structural-movement cracks, holes left by shelving or curtain poles, and crumbling plaster around old fixtures are the jobs we see most often. Each needs a slightly different filler or repair method, which is why we assess before quoting rather than guessing at a price over the phone.
Repair Before Redecoration
A repair that is not properly keyed, filled and sanded will telegraph through even the best paint job within weeks. We always treat filler and crack repair as a distinct stage before surface preparation begins, so the finished wall is genuinely flat, not just covered up.

Are hairline cracks a serious problem?
Usually not - most are cosmetic, caused by seasonal movement or drying plaster, and are simple to fill and paint over.
Can you repair damp-damaged plaster?
We can repair the surface once the source of damp has been addressed; repairing over an active damp problem only masks it temporarily.
Do you repair walls as a standalone job, or only alongside painting?
Both - some clients just want the repair done and will paint themselves, others want repair and redecoration in one visit.
